Over the coming months, churches across Arkansas will prioritize personal ownership of the Great Commission as church members intentionally pursue others with the hope of the gospel.

Here are a few suggestions on how to maximize the bi-vocational minister's time and effectiveness.

Arkansas has around 1300 churches without vocational student pastors. To reach students, what if churches created a plan, built on small groups, that allowed for older generations to interact with younger generations with the purpose of creating a more cohesive church? What if the church family was strengthened by doing discipleship, missions, fellowship, and evangelism across age groups?

Every year lives are forever changed, and the staffers of Super Summer Arkansas are vital to the camp experience. God uses staffers. Super Summer is thankful for their time, energy, and passion for pouring into the next generation.

Prayer-walking is vital to the success of school outreach.  Prayer-walking is simply praying in the very places we expect God to bring the answers to our prayers.

Explore Your Call is an effort to mentor, to resource, to network, to build relationships, and to prepare those that are being called.

A great question for a church to ask is, “How are our students being utilized in the overall structure of the church?” The church is a body, and the teenagers are an integral part of that body. Students need places of service and interaction in order to feel a part of the church as a whole. Research indicates that the more students are involved in intergenerational relationships, the better they “stick” with the church post high school graduation. (See research in Sticky Faith by Kara Powell.) One of the goals for student ministry is to see youth be able to function in a church as they become young adults. To facilitate this, students need experience working alongside and building relationships with adults so that the transition is smoother when they enter young adulthood.
