A The Arkansas Baptist Newspaper (ABN) has documented Arkansas Baptist history since 1901. After curating a print experience for Arkansas Baptists for over a century, the ABN now utilizes the digital world to reach every corner of the natural state.
When the ABSC Communications Team absorbed the ABN in January 2020, the formation of a bi-weekly eMagazine began sharing the stories of Arkansas Baptists with subscribers.
“The ABN is not about hard-hitting, breaking-news journalism. Instead, I believe the main purpose of the ABN is to point people to God by continually telling the stories of how He is working in our state through the combined efforts of the ABSC, Arkansas Baptist churches and all of our missions partners,” said Travis McCormick, interim managing editor of the ABN.
