The Arkansas Baptist State Convention's Sexual Abuse Response and Resource Team (SARRT) is here to help your church.
Protecting minors and those vulnerable from sexual abuse remains a top priority. We strive to actively encourage Arkansas Baptist churches to implement strategies to protect every individual. We take seriously our responsibility to report any abuse that we encounter. Because we want to love like Christ, our goal is to assist those in need, especially when ministering to survivors of abuse. With aid from MinistrySafe and Living Well Counseling provided by Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries, we are continually working to expand abuse prevention, implement safety practices, policies, and procedures, and show compassion and care for survivors of abuse. We grieve for anyone who suffers abuse and we desire for all Arkansas Baptist churches to be safe places.
